Spotlight on one of our clients in the property sector

Knowledge of the property sector and an appetite to work alongside growing businesses are two important aspects of our work at Corrigan. These have proved a great match for one of our clients, who came to us a start up and who we continue to support as their business grows.

The client contacted us in 2017 when they were about to launch their property agents business. As an experienced senior professional in the Bristol residential property sector they were convinced there was a business opportunity for a bespoke specialist service based on a fixed fee.

Whilst they had deep knowledge of the sector and a clear vision, it was their first time running their own company.

We were able to help them establish a Xero accounting system for the company, and support the business so that their compliance with accounting VAT and payroll did not become a headache. When equity finance was introduced we obtained approval for the investment under the Enterprise Investment Scheme to secure valuable tax breaks for the investors.

The company has continued to grow and now operates from offices in Clifton, where clients continue to enjoy the benefit of the highly professional approach and spectacular photography that are as much a hallmark of the business as its fixed fees.

If you are looking for accountants or tax advisers with expertise in property, or have a disruptive start up idea in another sector, as our clients will confirm we are approachable, practical, highly knowledgeable and clear and open about our fees.
